Witex expands its management team
Witex International Flooring GmbH, Augustdorf, has expanded its management team. From the 1st December 2006, the company's two Managing Directors, Jörg Freyer (Sales and Finances) and Norbert Kleinschmidt (Technology and Development) will be joined by Dr. Börge Schümann (46) who will work as Chairperson of the Management Board.

Based on his successful CV, Dr. Börge Schümann can offer profound strategy and marketing know-how to enable Witex to expand further. In his last position, Dr. Schümann worked as Spokesperson of the Board for the flooring specialist Rinol AG. Prior to this, he worked among other things as a sole Managing Director in medium-sized manufacturing firms and as a Marketing and Sales Area Manager for Pfleiderer AG, a timber product supplier.

Over the past year, Witex has experienced above average growth under the aegis of Freyer and Kleinschmidt thanks to the innovative elastoclic pur and ceraclic original floor coverings. The company's core laminate section alone has recorded a two-figure growth rate.
With Dr. Schümann joining Witex International Flooring GmbH, expertise in the Key Account Management and in the International Sales sectors will be strategically strengthened.
