With this message the Augustdorf-based company of Witex International Flooring GmbH is focussing the dialogue with new specialist trade customers, architects and the public at Domotex.
The fact that innovation for growth and success at Witex is not restricted just to products, can be seen from, for instance, the new S.M.A.R.T. sales concept with which the company is not only further consolidating its loyalty to the specialist trade but also, in keeping with the philosophy "Selling begins with the manufacturer", integrating all parts of the sales chain from the producer to the installer. S.M.A.R.T. stands at Witex for:

Only the tried and tested stand the test of time
In line with the new sales and marketing goals for 2006, the innovator is now showing four profitable families of flooring in Hanover: Laminate, Ready-made Parquet, elastoclic pur® and ceraclic®.
In its core range Witex will show a restricted collection that, with the four new finishes smoked acacia, African zebrano,
Amazonian ovangol and Mediterranean cypress will provide more variety in
design-orientated surfaces. For easier orientation, the distinction between suitability for private use and business premises use has been made sharper.
With its ready-made parquet collection, Witex has been very well received as a supplier by the trade and by consumers The country cottage floorboard and ship's hull collections Solo clic, duo clic and trio clic are therefore unchanged. The FSC-certified ready-made parquets were awarded the highest mark ("very good") by Öko-Test and they have also emerged successfully from tests with regard to room acoustics with the Sound Protect acoustic system 2.8.
New accessories for flooring care
In accessories there will be new care products for Witex laminate and ready-made parquet thanks to collaboration with the manufacturer Bona. The starter kit consists of a microfibre mop, the Bona Care cleaning cloth and a wooden floor cleaner specially developed for sealed wooden floors.
New floorings, new niches, new opportunities
It is only recently that, with elastoclic purâ Witex has brought on to the market a PU-based flooring with lasting elastic properties that is as easy to lay as laminate flooring. With the combination of a 100% polyurethane surface and the tried and tested glue-free LocTec connection technique in the laminate and ready-made parquet sector, the advantages of two floor covering segments will thus be combined.
Compared to roll products elastoclic purâ has a significant time advantage in laying for architects, property developers and tradespeople.
The 17 trendy colours in two different designs cover almost the whole range of the colours of the rainbow –from elegant Stone Grey via Mocca, Terracotta, Vanilla and Ocean Blue through to fresh summer colours like Lemon and Ruby Red. So you can combine the look to suit every style of decor from the 68 different finishes that are being shown in Hanover as a total collection.
New generation of products in the floor covering sector
With ceraclic® Witex is presenting a world first in the flooring market that offers entirely new areas of application to architects and tradespeople and new market opportunities to the trade. Ceraclic® is suitable for use as a floor covering for the private building and repair sector as well as for the trade e.g. in hotels, healthcare facilities, in schools and kindergartens and, because it is easy to lay and reuse, also in shops and exhibitions.
Ceraclic® is a flame-resistant, mineral flooring that could replace stone and in the future it could revolutionise traditional floor construction.
The base board made of highly compacted GIFAtec fibre-reinforced plasterboard reduces the sound of footsteps and is equipped with a specially-developed click connection system. In its material properties and areas of application, ceraclic® represents a separate product segment.
Witex is presenting its new floor covering initially for its market launch in Hanover as the ceraclic stone® collection with a total of 18 HPL stone finishes including slate, marble and travertine that are scarcely distinguishable from the natural materials. The natural appearance is achieved not only by the high-quality wear-resistant HPL surface (use class 33), but also by the fact that the joints can be filled in when laying with an in-house developed joint filler. Alternatively ceraclic® can also be finished with a ready-profiled decorative joint strip.
Detailed product information, areas of application and the time and cost-saving advantages of great interest to planners and tradespeople relating to this innovation in the flooring market are fully explained during the four days of the exhibition.
