Witex receives a „very good“ rating from Stiftung Warentest for the durability of its marena laminate flooring!

The „marena“ laminate flooring collection produced by Witex, Augustdorf, received a „very good“ rating in relation to durability, when it was tested by Stiftung Warentest.
The neutral test organisation „Stiftung Warentest“ published the results of a test carried out on ready to lay parquet and laminate flooring in the May issue of its magazine „test“.
After carrying out free test purchases on the market, Stiftung Warentest selected the products to be tested from 9 laminate flooring brands.
Overall, Witex marena flooring received a „good“ (1.8) rating. Products tested failed to receive a „very good“ rating. Others had to settle once more for a „satisfactory“ or even only a „fair“ rating.
The durability of Witex marena in particular was rated as „very good“; this is displayed by the very effective abrasion resistant surface and the stability of the click connection, the moisture protection system as well as its resistance to staining. The tests did not exceed the declared flooring applications.
Witex is also capable of receiving a very good rating when being tested for „Suitability for underfloor heating“.
Environmental and health properties were also checked. In this area, Witex marena received a „very good“ rating for slight solvent and formaldehyde release, as well as slight unpleasant odours and slip prevention.
The practical quality inspection was „good“, thanks to a positive ating for dimensional accuracy and laying compatibility.
Once again it appears that consumers are opting for quality brands even if they are more expensive. In the long run, this choice pays off over and over again, echoing the motto „Low-cost is too expensive for me“.
