Changeover at Witex

As planned, Hermann Pooth, Managing Director Marketing and Sales of Witex International Flooring GmbH, leaves the company after a successfully completed restructuring in order to continue working as a business consultant. With his long years of experience in the flooring industry, Pooth was in a position to provide the necessary impetus for the company in the difficult times after restructuring in order to realign the sales organisation and in order to reposition the Witex brand.
Karl-Heinz Scholz was newly appointed to the corporate management of Witex International Flooring GmbH. He will be responsible for the areas of strategy, marketing and sales.
As a wood engineer, Mr. Scholz is familiar with the subject and an expert in the finishing trade. He was able to generate a wealth of managerial experience at the executive level at, among others, market leaders such as Armstrong-DLW, Chicago Metallic Corporation, United States Gypsum and Knauf.
The focus of his work will be the strategic realignment of once again strongly growing Witex in the fields of innovation, customer orientation and technology leadership.
In the future, Hermann Pooth will remain connected to the company, serving as an independent consultant for all sales-policy related issues.
