“I never thought that I could collect the points for such a great bonus so quickly”, says a floor layer, who first came across Witex's bonus programme at the Domotex Trade Fair in Hanover, where he received his first bonus points and who had his first bonus, a Festool cordless electric drill, delivered today.
In fact, the Marketing Department of the Augustdorf-based flooring manufacturer had intended the bonus campaign to run for a limited time for the duration of 2006. However, due to the popularity of the campaign and the rapidly increasing number of participants, it was quickly decided that the successful programme would be extended until the 31.12.2007, allowing points to be diligently collected over the entire year.
There are good reasons why the bonus programme, referred to as the “propoints” campaign, has been so well received: firstly, it offers a large number of attractive prices in the Auto Accessories, Home & Family, Entertainment, Professional Tools, Fitness & Wellness, Communication and Clothing sectors, ranging from digital cameras to professional tools that are all high-quality brand products, from which to choose, depending on the number of points required. Secondly, Witex trading partners can use the campaign as an excellent way to win over their customers that are involved in floor laying and to increase sales; where else can you get a free and useful bonus in the form of a professional cordless electric drill, LCD TV or other attractive bonuses for the work involved in installing a floor?
What began with the slogan “propoints - install - collect - cash-in“ in 2006, is now a bonus programme is targeted at those that work directly with Witex products: floor-layers. And the programme is laid out in such a way that those participating in the campaign are quickly rewarded and are treated to collecting a bonus. Bonus points can be found on the packaging of all products in Witex's parquet, laminate, elastoclic pur and ceraclic original flooring collections. The customer registers for the programme and can then start collecting points immediately.
Markus Schätzle, Witex's Marketing Manager, who launched the programme with his team, can see the advantages for all those involved: “The handicraft worker is also rewarded by sales promotion campaigns, while the bonus campaign is also clearly an effective tool for our customers from the flooring trade, helping to drive the sale of Witex flooring products and to increase turnover. As a result, everyone is a winner with the Witex bonus programme: traders, handicraft workers as well as Witex itself as a manufacturer“.
A summer campaign with summery prices
Collecting propoints will become even more attractive during the summer. In MAY 2007, Witex will launch a Summer Special for the propoints campaign. In addition to the wide-ranging bonus catalogue, summer bonuses can be claimed starting at 500 points. Eager propoints collectors can then exchange their points for a beach tent, an aluminium camp bed or a thermoelectric cooler, thus adding to their summer holidays.
